7-16-2009 CRHS 64 KNOWS HOW TO PARTY
Two years of planning and dreaming paid off in a big way this week as CRHS 64 celebrated the 45th
Reunion.  A Meet and Greet at Martell's on Tuesday night was an overwhelming success, but the big party on Wednesday was alive with "party animals".  It was a great night of fun and we can’t thank Linda enough for making this happen. And NOW, let’s see those photos. If you click on the “Photo Album” Link you’ll notice there’s a new 45th Reunion Album. You can upload your photos NOW. If you don’t know how, you can send me electronic files or mail me copies of the photos which I will scan and send right back to you. My information is in the Reunion Book (Jackie Rush Naughton) or click on the “Contact Us” Link and send me an e-mail. We all want to see what excitement you captured!

ALSO, I've set up a new message board for "45th Reunion Chatter" (click on the Message Boards link).  You can view the messages, but will need your Login information to participate in the conversation.  You created a Login and Password when you signed up on the Classmates page.  If you haven't signed up yet, you can click on the "Classmates" link and sign up now.  If you've already signed up and forgotten your Login and Password, go to your Classmates entry and click on "Edit".  On the next screen, click on "Forgot Password" and you will be asked to enter your e-mail address.  Your Login and Password will be e-mailed to you.

11-15-2008  BIG BIG NEWS!!  We are thrilled to annouce the realease of New Age Cowboys, an original novel by our favorite author and classmate, Roger KrineyClick here to get your very own copy at Amazon.com.  CONGRATULATIONS ROGER!!!

Here's a synopsis:  Cousins, Ren Hadley and Doug Gove from New Jersey meet in St. Paul, Minnesota, unexpectedly after fifteen years apart. Both, unable to heal from failed marriages and child separation agony, seek out assistance from psychotherapist, Palmer Anderson.  Although successfully able to guide them through their sadness and loneliness, Anderson can't seem to prevent the collapse of his own family structure and career. The three men, in their early thirties, together with another of Palmer's deeply troubled clients, Jake Wilbert attempt to find their way through the post hippy, cult oriented 1970's that was St. Paul. Fast forward to 2006 in the western coastal Mexican village of Sayulita, the long time friends, now in their early sixties gather at the home of the now expatriate Dr. Anderson.  The decision to include Jake in the reunion, proves questionable, at best as he drags them through a two week marijuana hazed, unwelcome and often unwholesome escapade through the Mexican drug trade, sexual infidelity, a dangerous confrontation with an indigenous Mexican tribe, a romp through a new age, clothing optional resort with a half Mexican half Japanese  beauty, a pretty Seattle travel agent and a group of Alabama society belles  ending in a horrific clash with the unstable Mexican political scene. This is a story of rescue and commitment between old friends. Their 1960's  attitudes of acceptance and tolerance are tested in the post 911 world as  they discover  just how much they have come to still rely on each other and  just how important that reliance has become as they have aged.
